Umbilical hernias, inguinal hernia, epigastria hernia
An umbilical hernia is characterized by an incomplete closure at birth that leads to the appearance of a lump at this area that increases when the infant cries.
An inguinal hernia is produced by the open inguinal conduct, allowing the exit of the intestine and creating a painful lump in the groin area that can in some instances lead to intestinal obstruction.
Epigastria hernias are caused by the existence of small openings in the mid line of the abdomen above the navel and produce the exit of fat that are detected as small lumps that can be painful.
