Dysplasia/hip luxations
In a newborn, principally in girls and pregnancies with breech delivery, suspicion of hip dysplasia is frequent. This consists of an insufficient development of the joint cavity of the hip. If the ceiling of the hip does not develop adequately, they allow the head of the femur of the child to luxate when standing and walking begin, which causes limping.
